Man Mo Temple in Hong Kong is where the God of Literature and God of Martial Arts are worshipped. Built-in 1847 during the Qing dynasty by wealthy Chinese merchants, it was, besides a place of worship, a court of arbitration for local disputes

Arguably one of the best-known temples in Hong Kong, this Declared Monument is the largest shrine built.

Inside the temple, coils of incense hang against a brilliant backdrop of red and gold, creating a surreal spiritual atmosphere that is sure to impress even non-believers.

These are incense coils burned as offerings by worshippers.

Watch my vlog to learn more about this Chinese temple.
